Welcome to the
home page for the 2007 Bushe Bashe fly in and open day being
held at Blackbushe Airport, Camberley, Surrey on Saturday 30 June
2007 celebrating 65 years of Blackbushe.
Everyone is welcome to come in
be it by air, car, bike or foot! There will be many interesting
aircraft to look at both based at Blackbushe and flying in from
far and wide.
The most beautiful aircraft will
win a prize in the hotly contested concours d'elegance after
which there will be an aerial treasure hunt.
Fun Flights will be available
on the day. See what it is like to fly like a bird!
On the ground there is plenty
to occupy inquisitive minds. Stalls from local traders and aviation
suppliers, bouncy castle for the kids (not the pilots!). A charity
raffle with special prizes including lunch in Alderney (don't worry
how to get there!) and a meal for two at Hartley Witney's Pour
House will take place during the day.
A special guest, Aldershot MP
and shadow minister for Defence Gerald Howarth, who is
himself a pilot, will be opening the whole proceedings.
There will be the Bushe Bashe Boogie in
the evening with dinner and live music, Tickets £20.00.
Email the link on the right to reserve your tickets.
All profits will be going to
two charities, the Phyllis
Tuckwell Hospice and the Motor
Neurone Disease Association.
